Filmsite.com.au showcases a selection of residential properties which all have great potential to be used as photographic or film locations. These properties are all either unique in some way or are good examples of their genre. While new properties will be continually added to the files, others will be removed should they fail to attract significant interest. Through this process, the filmsite library should always be rewarding to browse through.

While going through the images it is possible to select and save them to a project. This can be done by clicking on the small icon, to the bottom left of each thumbnail or slideshow image. Once saved into a project, images can be forwarded onto colleagues, either via email or by automatically posting a page on the web.

In the interests of both the security of our home-owners and the protection of our intellectual property, we have chosen not to display recognizable images of the houses from the exterior. Should you require such images, please feel free to contact us to discuss your project and we will send these through directly. We have also chosen to restrict membership access exclusively to photographers, directors, producers and select media professionals.

We have avoided completely automating the process of detail disclosure and payment, and have rather chosen to maintain a personal approach to the booking of the locations. For this reason, all details will only be provided after speaking to us about the project.

The software which drives this library has been developed exclusively for filmsite.com.au and is still largely in development phase. For this reason, we appreciate any understanding you may be able to afford us with possible bugs, and would value any feedback which you may send us.

Gavin Greenstone is the owner and manager of Filmsite. He is a location manager who is based in Sydney. He has worked on about 20 international features and tv dramas and over a hundred televsion commercials and stills shoots.Through his career he has spent significant time working as a propmaster, vehicle wrangler and production person.
